Why collectors look for this box
Gym Challenge completed the Gym series and introduced popular Gym Leader’s Pokémon. A sealed English box is a focused buy for collectors building a WOTC-era shelf.
Edition matters here: 1st Edition and Unlimited boxes are priced very differently, so confirm which one a listing really is.
How to confirm you’re buying the right box
- Confirm the box is Unlimited (as this listing states) and not 1st Edition.
- Compare box art and markings with documented Gym Challenge examples.
- Ask for close photos of all six sides and the wrap seams.
Condition checklist before you pay
- Photos of all six sides, plus close-ups of wrap seams and corners.
- Any tears, holes, loose wrap, dents, crushing, fading or water marks.
- Written confirmation that the photos show the exact box that will ship.
- How the box will be packed and insured for shipping.
Photos help you judge condition, but they are not proof of authenticity on their own.
Price context
The price shown above is the LOOSPACKS asking price, not a market valuation. When you compare, use completed sales of the same set, edition and similar condition, and check whether fees, shipping and tax were included. Active listings are not sales.
